Description

The aim of the project is to characterise a transgenic pig model for Amyotroph Lateral Sclerosis that can be used to develop and test neuro-protective medical treatments related to human neurodegenerative disorders. Analyses used in this characterisation includes:

  • Genomics
  • Microarray analyses
  • Proteome studies
  • Scannings of Brain and Medulla Spinalis
  • Histology of dissected motorneurons
