My research activities include the effects of soil management on soil physical characteristics. This means evaluation of soil quality in terms of erodibility, compactability, aggregate stability etc. In recent years, I have increased the research in multidisciplinary approaches for understanding the effects of soil physical properties on biological processes. A major task now is research in soil quality aspects in organically as well as conventionally managed farming systems.
