Diagnosis of bee diseases: American foulbrood, European foulbrood, stonebrood, nosema, small hive beetles, varroa, tracheal, and tropilaelaps mites.
Control of queens and bees, reporting on health status for the authorities relating to honey bees in Denmark, the EU and OIE. Information to prevent bee diseases and beepoisoning.
Education of beekeepers in beedisease, with the purpose to obtain the right to sign health certificate.
Research relating to honey bees: Varroa and viral infections, improving tolerance to American foulbrood, plants and bees, and the population genetic of the bees on Læsø.
