Profile

I am involved in research concerning the development of methods for assessment of animal health and welfare in commercial pig herds. This includes the development and evaluation of relevant behavioural, and health related indicators and the development of systems applicable for aggregation of health and welfare indicators. Further, I am concerned with the development and evaluation of management methods integrating control of animal welfare as well as food safety at herd level.
