Research into the behaviour of horses with special emphasis on housing and social behaviour and management of young horses.

My main activities include:

• Studying the motivation of horses for social contact depending on the type of social contact, the previous experiences of the horses and their social situation.
• Housing of horses in general. Policy and legislative support as well as general consultancy concerning management and design of housing facilities.
