I started as a lab-technician student at DJF in the Department of Food Science (FS) in August 2003- July 2004. After I graduated, I worked 3 months at FS. Since November 2004 I’ am working at the Department of Animal Health, Welfare and Nutrition.

Department of Food Science:

• Sample collection at slaughtering
• DNA/RNA determination by fluorescent scanning
• Amino acid determination by HPLC
• Identification of different proteins by Native-PAGE, SDS-PAGE og Western Blot
• Development and implementation of analyzing methods.

Department of Animal Health, Welfare and Nutrition:

• Identification and semi quantitative determination of intracellular proteins in cell lysates by Western Ligand Blotting and densitometry
• RNA isolation and translation to cDNA by TriReagent og RNeasy Mini Kit
• Regulation of gene expression by real-time quantitative RT-PCR
