I have been employed at DIAS since 2000, and my present tasks at the Dept. of Animal Health, Welfare and Nutrition, the research group Disease Mechanisms, -markers and -prevention comprise:

• Autoanalyser:  Running in, method validation, analyses of plasma/serum/urine, enzyme measurements, metabolite and immunological measurements.
• Fluorescence measurements: Milk and plasma samples.

Previous tasks:

• ELISA: Various cytokines, IgA IgM IgG, osteocalcin, HPTH
• Flow-injection analyses (FIA)
• Sample collection in the cattle barn
• In Vitro stimulation
• Bacteriological examinations

Knowledge of:

• Haemacytometer
• Flowcytometry
